What is God saying to you?

Even though I hear what God has been telling me lately, I still continue to fret yet He tells me worry is one of the enemy's tools. Have a little faith the Father tells me.
Everywhere I look in my Bible, I keep seeing these words: "Jesus said: With man this is impossible but with God all things are possible."
I need to keep my eyes on God the Father and His Son.

Watch, Hear, and Believe

Don't be deceived. God does exist! If you think that God doesn't exist then you haven't been going to Him when you need help......have you been listening to His still small voice?

Start paying attention to particular people who shine no matter what!
For example: when you see people and after seeing them, you think I want whatever they have............
Many years ago a I heard a youth pastor's wife say: Someday I want someone to ask me, what is it that is making you glow, be so happy, and smile? Then I will be able to say, its just Jesus!

Rango

2 of my kids and myself went to see the movie "Rango" with a friend for her birthday.
I got several thoughts from this movie:
#1-if you have control of something, any one thing that everybody else wants then you got control!
#2-it made me remember this: its not about me, its about Him! that's what this journey is all about, Him.
#3-as long as you have hope, then you can keep on keeping on this journey but you gotta have hope.
#4-you don't really want to be like everyone else! fly high on what makes you different and don't allow others to take that from you: your individuality! use the old adage: i think i can, i think i can, i think i can

Today my family and I just got through watching the old 1951 "Angels in the Outfield" movie. It was such a good, excellent, and outstanding movie. Everyone should take the time find this movie and watch it. The fact that its an old black and white movie, makes this particular movie even better. Its got family values, the all-American past time baseball and faith.
What makes this a good movie to me, is that someone takes the time to find faith in the underdogs.
I have always been an underdog and God has always made time for me.
No matter what your circumstances are, all you have to do is say His name and He will be there for you, too. There is this song that the Gaither Vocal Band sings called, He's Watching Me and it basically says that God never sleeps and no matter what He's doing when I call His name, He's there because He has been watching me all the time. God is not a magician. That is what we act like we want Him to be. We think since He is God then He can just fix things. But that's not how it works. God gave us a free will and the freedom to choose. With that freedom the world has chosen to take God out of the situation. As for me, I have chosen to keep God in my status quo.

Where Does Your Help Come From~Psalm 121

I love Psalm 121 because it says it best: "My help comes the Lord, maker of heaven and earth"; it says He doesn't sleep and He will not let me slip. So why is it when I feel trouble coming on or I get right in the middle of difficulties do I not call upon the name of the Lord? I get frustrated and I squirm and just make a mess of things by myself. All I have to do is call out, Father God or Jesus, its for you! Please take care of this for me.  You have probably seen this little note floating around the internet that says something like this:
"Good Morning, This is God and I am going to take care of all your needs for today. I will not need your help today so have a good day." I don't know who wrote that but that sums it up for me.
I really want satan to think every day when I wake up, OMG she's awake! satan hates the name of Jesus being spoken out loud and he despises it when I talk to God so I better make sure I do it often as I rather be the one tripping the enemy versus the enemy tripping me.

Only GOD can turn a MESS into a MESSage, a TEST into a TESTimony, a TRIal into a TRIumph, a VICTim into a VICTory. GOD is GOOD... all the time!

FAITH, what does that really mean? The dictionary says it means: "complete trust or confidence in someone or something." That is hard for me to do, to have complete 100% trust or confidence in someone or something.  So how do I get there? I have to believe in someone or something so completely that anything else will not matter. Any contradiction, as to what is said or done to place doubt in my mind, heart, and soul; I will have to be able to say, I have faith of a mustard seed and with that nothing will be impossible for me.

For myself I have to keep in contact with God my Father every day by talking to Him and by reading His word, every single day.

I have complete faith that Jesus is coming back soon even though for years people have been saying the same thing over and over again.

Now doesn't that proverb sound just like us humans? just when I think I can't hold on any longer or that this is it, I can't handle anymore, life turns whatever I'm are going through into something beautiful.  Or you can look at it this way, I have so much to be grateful for, that my butterfly could be my blessings. I  need to take the time to count my blessings, name them one by one; be a pollyana. For one of my blessings was that last night I could look up into the night sky and see the beautiful, gorgeous stars. Last night they were so bright and shiny, it looked like they were winking at me. :)
And today it is so beautiful outside! The sky is so blue with some white clouds smeared in there.
I am grateful that I have eyes and can behold the wonders God gave us!

today March 1, was my 50th birthday, woohoo! hubby, myself, and youngest daughter went to springs, our oldest daughter is in college and son was at work. 

my youngest kept informing me all day that she and I are major drama queens and we go from an extreme high to extreme lows with nothing in between. and that is exactly how my day went LOL

i expected too much for my day; even had a list i was going by, what a mistake that was.
